Hi, I’m Candy B — a fusion food creator with a twist! 🎲
Instead of planning my meals, I let the universe decide what’s next by pulling random ideas from my recipe jars.
From sweet to savory and everything in between, each recipe is a spontaneous fusion of flavors, cultures, and creativity.
Follow along as I turn chance into culinary magic — one unique recipe at a time. ✨🍴

Today’s pull:
     🌌Sweet and Spicy
     and
     🌌Macaroni n Cheese

I decided to make:
Hot Honey Baked Mac n Cheese

🔥

INGREDIENTS:

1 Box Macaroni noodles
4 Tbsp Salted Butter
3 Tbsp AP Flour
2 C Whole Milk
8 oz Block Monterey Jack, shredded
8 oz Block Sharp Yellow Cheedar, shredded
8 oz Block Original Velveeta, cubed
1/2 Tbsp Badia Complete Seasoning
1/2 Tbsp Paprika
Hot Honey, for drizzling

🔥

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F, then fill a pot with water, set it to high, and prepare to boil the macaroni.
  2. Cook noodles according to package, empty into collander and rinse well with cool water, set aside.
  3. Heat butter in large saucepan.
  4. Add flour over butter and cook for a few moments while constantly stirring.
  5. Stir in milk and whisk until well combined.
  6. Add diced velveeta to pot, allow to melt before moving to next step.
  7. Add in shredded cheeses a handful at a time, allow to melt. Keep 1-2 cups of shredded cheese aside to use for the top.
  8. Stir in paprika and complete seasoning.
  9. Put the macaroni noodles in deep sided cooking dish, pour the cheese sauce directly over and stir well to combine.
  10. Sprinkle top evenly with remaining cheese.
  11. Bake at 350°F for 20-30 mins until hot and bubbly. Depending on your oven, you may need to use the broil setting for a few moments to brown the cheese ontop.
  12. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes, then drizzle with hot honey and enjoy!!

    Evening, Candy.
It’s your wandering old pal here — the one who’s never quite in the country long enough to explain why he smells faintly of airports and wet trench coats.

I read your recipe from a little bench at a train station whose name I’m technically not allowed to mention. And I must say… it landed kindly. Feels a bit like someone remembering to leave the porch light on, plate warming in the stove. My mouth is watering as I type.

Your words have that rare, gentle weight — the sort that settles in the pockets of a lonely traveller and keeps them warm longer than they’d admit. Keep writing, love. This old ghost of a man will keep reading, whenever duty lets me.

    Cheers,
    Chuckster
